Abstract


The purpose of this article is to find out and describe how well the internal communication in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Padang City is seen from (1) downward communication, (2) upward communication, and (3) horizontal communication.This type of research is descriptive with a quantitative approach. The population in this study were 65 employees in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of Padang City. The sample collection uses the Krejcie table with the Stratified Proportional Random Sampling technique so that the number of samples is 58 employees. The data collection tool in this study is a Likert scale model questionnaire that has been tested for validity and reliability, the results of which are valid and reliable. Data analysis techniques use the average formula.The research results show that: (1) Downward communication in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the City of Padang has been well established with an average score of 3,61. (2) Upward communication at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the City of Padang has been established quite well with an average score of 3,56. (3) Horizontal communication in the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the City of Padang has been well established with an average score of 3,61. Thus it can be concluded that Internal Communication at the Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency of the City of Padang has been established quite well with an overall average of 3,59.
