Abstract


This study aims to look at work motivation, work environment and the relationship between work environment and work motivation in the Culture Service of West Sumatra Province. The population is all employees in the West Sumatra Provincial Culture Office totaling 101 people and the sample is 53 people who are determined based on the Proportionate Stratified Random Sampling technique. The instrument used is a questionnaire formulated about work motivation and work environment. The result is a significant relationship between the work environment and work motivation in the West Sumatra Provincial Culture Office.
