Abstract


This article aims to get an overview of how to analyze teacher pedagogical competencies in implementing character education in Koto Tangah State Elementary School. To realize the competence of teachers with noble values, it is necessary to have student character education so that later the outputs produced are in accordance with the objectives designed in the 1945 Law and education in Indonesia is not only qualified but also has character. However, the author's observations on how the analysis of teacher pedagogical competence in Koto Tangah Elementary School on the application of character education in schools is still not optimal, this can be seen from several phenomena that researchers find in the field which will be explained in the discussion section below.
