Implementation of Batik Learning in Sampan Pesona Minang Batik Crafts (Case Study in Sungai Kasai Village, South Pariaman District, Pariaman City)
Abstract
This study aims to determine the form of implementation of batik learning at the Sampan Pesona Minang Batik Craft located in Sungai Kasai Village, South Pariaman District, Pariaman City, West Sumatra. The empowerment process through learning batik sampan pesona minang provides an opportunity for people who are not yet empowered from various age ranges to be involved in the production of crafts and skills. To achieve this goal, this study uses a qualitative research type using a case study approach, and collects data through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of managers and marketers of the Sampan Pesona Minang Batik Craft, while the research informants included residents learning batik. The data validity technique used was triangulation of sources, methods, and theories. The results of the study showed that the implementation of batik learning consisted of 4 (four) processes consisting of learning planning, learning implementation, learning evaluation, and learning outcomes.
