The Relationship between Peer Environment and Social Attitudes of Students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Pancung Taba Village Pesisir Selatan Regency

Abstract


This research is motivated by the social attitudes of students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Nagari Pancung Taba, Pesisir Selatan Regency which are still not good. The type of research used is quantitative correlational type. The population of the study was students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Nagari Pancung Taba, Pesisir Selatan Regency from classes I, II, III, IV totaling 80 people, 75% of the population was sampled, namely 60 people using stratified random sampling technique. The data collection technique used a questionnaire. The data analysis technique used the product moment percentage formula. The results of the study showed that (1) the description of the peer environment of students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Nagari Pancung Taba, Pesisir Selatan Regency was still relatively low; (2) the description of the social attitudes of students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Nagari Pancung Taba, Pesisir Selatan Regency was still relatively low; (3) There is a significant relationship between the peer environment and the social attitudes of students at MDTA Az-Zakariah Nagari Pancung Taba, Pesisir Selatan Regency.
