KONTRIBUSI MOTIVASI BELAJAR DAN DISIPLIN TERHADAP HASIL BELAJAR MSPE DI SMK DHUAFA PADANG

Abstract


This study aims to determine the contribution of learning motivation and

discipline toward learning outcomes of students at vocational high school Dhuafa

of  Padang  in  the  academic  year  2012/2013.  The  background  of  this  research

problem, that 59 % of 22 students get the learning outcomes below the minimum

completeness  criteria  (<70).  This  type  of  research  is  descriptive  quantitative

research  subjects  as  many  as  22  students  of  class  XI  installation  of  power

electrical  engineering  that  have  learned  system  operation  of  electromagnetic

control. The problem studied in this research is the contribution of (1) motivation

toward  learning  outcomes,  (2)  the  discipline  of  the  learning  outcomes,  (3)

motivation  and discipline  simultaneously on  learning outcomes.  Instrument data

collection using a questionnaire  enclosed  form and objective  test  form. Analysis

techniques using the Pearson product moment analysis  . Results showed that: (1)

there  is  a  significant  contribution  between  learning  motivation  and  learning

outcomes  of  18.49 %,  (2)  there  is  a  significant  contribution  to  the  discipline  of

learning outcomes between of 25.20 %, and (3) there is a contribution significant

between learning motivation and discipline simultaneously on  learning outcomes

of 30.25 %
