PENERAPAN STRATEGI BELAJAR MIND MAPPING UNTUK MENINGKATKAN KEMAMPUAN PEMECAHAN MASALAH PADA MATA DIKLAT MENGANALISIS RANGKAIAN LISTRIK DI SMKN 2 PAYAKUMBUH

Abstract

This research was started from finding some problems namely students’ difficulty in comprehension process, memorizing, and connecting a material to another material. The aim of this research is to identify the improvement of students’ ability in problem solving by using mind mapping strategy. This research is an experimental research with design of the one- group experimental. Population was taken from 40 students of grade X TOI electrical engineering determined by method of purposive sampling. The  research’s  instrument is in essay form consisted of pre test and post test. The research’s result shows that there is an improvement toward students’ achievement in learning by using mind mapping strategy. Therefore, to achieve the good learning outcomes, it is suggested to use mind mapping strategy in the instructional process.
