Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni is an international journal dedicated for the publication of scientific articles in language education, literature, and arts education. It was firstly published on March 2000 with ISSN 1411-3732 in 2007 by Faculty of Language Literature and Arts Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal had ever been changed into Jurnal Bahasa dan Seni during 2004-2013. In 2014 this journal is renamed as Komposisi: Jurnal Pendidikan Bahasa, Sastra, dan Seni applies open journal system (OJS) and peer-reviewed online journal in 2017 with Online ISSN 2548-9097.

Currently, this journal is published by Faculty of Languages and Arts (FBS) Universitas Negeri Padang. This journal is dedicated for the publication of scientific articles in language education, literature, and arts. This journal is published twice a year i.e. March and September. Editorial Boards accepts manuscripts of research based/conceptual in language, literature, and arts  and their learning.
