Abstract


Abstracts: Teaching mechanical reading through spealling methods, word method, global method, structural methods, analytic and syntetic method does not accelerate student mechanical reading ability in the first year of elementary school. this article discusses the writing of a course book and the method based on Indonesian phonology, especially phonemic system and phonotactic rules. the course book and learning method are expected to accelerate mechanical reading ability of the first year students of elementary school.
