Abstract


The purpose of this study was to analyze the effectiveness of the inquiry-based learning Integrated Physics e-book on earthquake-based learning to improve student learning outcomes. The applicable curriculum and regulations mandate the need for local context into learning materials. The purpose of Government Regulation Number 32 of 2013 Article 77 B is so that students can recognize regional potential and understand regional characteristics. Judging from the characteristics and potential of the region, that West Sumatra has the potential for earthquake disasters. The method of implementing disaster education that can be done is to integrate disaster material into one of the subjects at school. In addition, the problem facing the whole world is Covid-19. Learning in this era implies that learning resources must be electronic-based. This research was conducted at SMA Negeri 08 Padang for the academic year 2021/2022 on straight motion material. The method used in this research is a quasi-experimental method. The chosen design is a one group pretest-posttest design. The competencies analyzed are the competence of tough attitude, knowledge and skills. Based on the results of the study, it was concluded that the integrated physics e-book based on earthquake inquiry was considered effective for improving students' attitudes, knowledge and skills.
