Abstract

 

The problem in this research contents is about teachers centered learning that affected student thinking ability and their learning outcomes. These research aimed to measure the enhancement of student learning outcomes on subject material “Analizing Electrical Circuit” in 10th TITL SMKN 1 Padang at Academic Year 2013/2014, by applying a type of STAD cooperative learning model within module. The kind of this research is quasi-experimental design. The subject of this research is 10th TITL with total number of student 30. The object research is the STAD cooperative learning model within module. The research instrument that had been used is the test namely the objective test which had been trial the validity and reliability of test. Based on the result, gained the average of study result in pretest with the average value is 58. Whereas  in first posttest by applying the STAD cooperative learning model within module had enhanced 20,26 point being 78,26. To try the enhancement study result is used Normalized Gainscore (NG), and average calculatied score gained NG= 0,4727 with the score criteria on medium.
