PERBEDAAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE PEMBELAJARAN KOOPERATIF TIPE LISTENING TEAM DENGAN METODE CERAMAH PADA MATA DIKLAT MENGGUNAKAN HASIL PENGUKURAN DI SMKN 1 PADANG

Abstract


The background of this research is caused by teaching phenomenon which use by teacher, commonly teacher uses speech method. It can make students be bored, sleepy and passive and they only tend to make a note at class.  Less activity will appear in sharing information each other in learning process at certain subject which use the result of measurement, it becomes one reason student get low result in learning process. That is why Litening team is one cooperative learning method that has purpose to make student be active by dividing them into group and each of group has difference tasks. The aim of this result is to show the differences between learning process at subject by using measurement in Listening Team as cooperative learning method and speech method.

This research is kind of quasi experiment. The subject of research is taken from students class X at SMKN 1 Padang who has registered since 2013/ 2014 academic of year; it involves TITL and TDTL class. Random technique is used in this research. Between two classes 32 students is chosen from X TITL as experiment class and 32 students from X TDTL as control class. The experiment of testing is done at SMK 5 Padang from class X TITL which consists of 31 students. In collecting data, result of learning (post-test) will be used by giving 20 objective items. The data will be analyzed by testing the average both of tests.

After analyzing the data, it is found that experiment class which uses Listening Team as cooperative learning method gets average (78.03), and it is higher score than control class which use speech method. By using speech method students get (68.18). The result of research shows that there is a significant difference from Listening Team as Cooperative Learning Method and speech method in certain subject by using result of measurement at SMK Padang 1.
