Abstract


One of factors that influences the low marks of students’ result was learning method. A research was conducted  to see the enhancement of students’ result by using Contextual Teaching and Learning method. This research aimed to see the enhancement of students learning outcomes in subject matter analysis electricity circuit by using Contextual Teaching and Learning method in SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung. The research design was quasy experiment that used pretest-posttest one group design. The research subject was 37 students grade X majoring in Techniques Electricity in SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung. Instrument for pretest and posttest were tried out in grade X majoring in Power Plant Engineering SMKN 1 Pariaman. The try out test contains 30 questions. This aimed to see validity of the pretest 22 and posttest 23 questions. About the reliability of the pretest was very high and posttest was high. The instruments was also diffirent test and difficulty level of questions. The instrument was objective test as much as 20 questions. The data was analyzed by using Gain Score. The result showed that there was enhancement of students learning outcomes as 0,34. This enhance in the medium category So, it can be concluded that using CTL method can enhance students learning outcomes of grade X majoring in Techniques Electricity in SMKN 2 Lubuk Basung in analysis electricity circuit.
