Abstract


This study aims to analyze the effect of active learning with index card match model on results of subject control system. The research population has done in grade XI TITL in SMKN 5 Padang. The type of this study is quasi experimental with 48 students consisting of 22 students in the experimental class and the 26 students in control class. The selection of classes is done by using random sampling techniques, and having tested the homogenity of the two classes, shows that both have a homogeneous variance. The data analysis technique is used normality test, homogenity, and t-test. The study indicates the experimental classes used active learning which Index Card Match model have an average of 79.64, while the control class conventional learning has an average value of 69.8. The hypothesis test calculations obtained t count > t table, then Ha is accepted. The result of research shows the active learning with index card match model having a significant effect on results of subject control system.
