PENINGKATAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MENGGUNAKAN METODE INSIDE OUTSIDE CIRCLE PADA MATA DIKLAT MEMAHAMI DASAR-DASAR ELEKTRONIKA KELAS X TITL SMK NEGERI 1 SUNGAI RUMBAI
Abstract
This research background based on the student’s learning results that did not reach KKM. The percentage of students who have reached KKM is 54.16%, while 45.84% is the students who are not have reached KKM. One of the factors that influenced the student’s learning results is learning methods. To enhance the learning result of students, this research was conducted by using cooperative learning model Inside Outside Circle (IOC). Inside Outside Circle Learning Method (IOC) is a model of learning in which students share information at the same time with different partners briefly and regularly. The purpose of this research is to see the improvement of the student’s learning outcomes using a method Inside Outside Circle on subject “Memahami Dasar-Dasar Elektronika” in grade X of SMK Negeri 1 TITL Sungai Rumbai. This research is Quasi Experimental with one group design pretest-posttest. This research’s object is the students of grade X TITL SMK 1 Sungai Rumbai that are registered in 2012/2013, they are consisted of 24 students. The data is obtained using learning outcomes (post-test), and the data is in multiple choice form (20 questions). The data is analyzed using gain score. Based on results of research is found that a average value of the pre-test before using the method of IOC is 56, and average value of the post-test after using the method of IOC is 73. The calculation of Gain Score improve the student’s learning out comes that is in medium average category. To conclude, the use of cooperative IOC learning model can improve learning outcomes in grade X of TITL SMK 1 Sungai Rumbai on subject “Memahami Dasar-Dasar Elektronika”
