Abstract
This article aims to improve learning outcomes ICT VIII.A
Grade Students at SMP N 1 Agam Pua River to use Powerpoint. This
research includes classroom action research, which was conducted in
April and May 2014, involving 20 students to 11 students Person
female and 9 male students.
Levels of achievement of learning outcome of students in
learning was observed with increasing student learning outcomes,
namely in the first cycle an average of 71.6 (one point six seven) and
the number of students who completed a total of 11 (eleven) persons
or 55%, whereas the cycle II average of 76.1 (seven point one six) and
the number of students who completed as many as 18 people or 90%.
Seen also in positive activities that increase student learning and
decrease the negative activity. From this study it can be concluded that
the use of powerpoint ICT can improve learning outcomes of students
of class VIII. A SMP N 1 Pua River.
