Abstract


Permasalahan penelitian ini terletak pada melemahnya pengetahuan anak tentang tradisi lokal, khususnya seni wayang, akibat dominasi media digital, serta rendahnya literasi ekologis yang tercermin dari persoalan sampah dan minimnya praktik daur ulang. Tujuannya adalah mengkaji efektivitas reimajinasi wayang limbah sebagai aktivitas dalam menumbuhkan literasi budaya dan ekologis yang menyatu dengan praktik kreatif, ruang kultural lokal, dan kolaborasi komunitas. Metode yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif partisipatif melalui studi literatur sistematis (SLR), observasi lapangan, wawancara, serta evaluasi pre-test dan post-test. Metode ini memungkinkan peneliti menelaah konsep reimajinasi wayang limbah, mengamati proses workshop dan pementasan, serta menilai peningkatan literasi budaya dan ekologis anak secara komprehensif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa integrasi reimajinasi—meliputi penciptaan makna baru melalui wayang limbah, pembacaan ulang tradisi, dan pembentukan identitas kultural dan ekologis—menciptakan pengalaman belajar yang holistik. Anak mengalami peningkatan pemahaman terhadap simbol dan tokoh wayang, serta pemahaman nilai ekologis 3R (Reduce, Reuse, Recycle), melalui implementasi workshop dan pementasan wayang limbah bersama Komunitas ASRI di Punden Sentono. Peningkatan signifikan dari skor pre-test ke post-test menegaskan bahwa aktivitas ini efektif dalam menanamkan literasi budaya dan ekologis secara simultan. Kesimpulannya adalah model reimajinasi wayang limbah terbukti imersif, partisipatif, dan dapat direplikasi sebagai pendekatan efektif untuk memperkuat literasi budaya dan ekologis anak melalui kolaborasi komunitas dan pemanfaatan ruang kultural.
