Lingua Didaktika: Jurnal Bahasa dan Pembelajaran Bahasa is a high-quality  open acces peer-reviewed journal published by English Department FBS UNP in collaboration with Indonesian English Teachers Association (IETA). It began its publication in 2007 as journal of language and language learning published by English Department Universitas Negeri Padang, Indonesia. Since 2016, this journal has become a online journal devoted to the publication of original research papers written by researchers, academicians, and professionals from all over the world.Lingua Didaktika: Jurnal Bahasa dan Pembelajaran Bahasa serves as a forum for practical approaches to improving quality in issues pertaining to foreign language learning and its related fields, applied linguistics and linguistics, and also deals with research or theories in foreign language and literature. 

Lingua Didaktika: Jurnal Bahasa dan Pembelajaran Bahasa was firstly published in 2007 by Department of English Faculty of Languages and Arts, Universitas Negeri Padang pada tahun 2007. In 2016, Lingua Didaktika: Jurnal Bahasa dan Pembelajaran Bahasa applied peer reviewed online journal in collaboration Indonesian English Teachers Association (IETA).
