Abstract


Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan mengenai persepsi guru SMP mengenai iklim organisasi dan semangat kerja guru SMP di lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah di Kabupaten Minahasa, kemudian mengkaji sejauhmana hubungan antara iklim organisasi dengan semangat kerja guru SMP di Kabupaten Minahasa. Terhadap 124 responden yang dipilih dari guru-guru SMP di Kabupaten Minahasa yang ditemui secara aksedental, telah diperoleh hasil penelitian bahwa persepsi guru SMP di Kabupaten Minahasa terhadap iklim organisasi di lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah ternyata telah optimal, di samping itu semangat kerja guru SMP di lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Minahasa juga telah optimal. Selanjutnya antara iklim organisasi dan semangat kerja guru SMP di lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan Dasar dan Menengah Kabupaten Minahasa ternyata memiliki hubungan positif dan fungsional. Oleh karena itu, disarankan agar mangat kerja guru SMP pada lingkungan Departemen Pendidikan dan Kebudayaan Kabupaten Minahasa telah optimal. Oleh karena itu disarankan agar kondisi organisasi yang ada perlu dipertahankan, agar lembaga ini tetap memiliki citra yang lebih baik di mata masyarakat dan stakeholders juga perlu adanya koordinasi dari semua pihak dalam meningkatkan mutu pendidikan SMP di Kabupaten Minahasa.
