Author Guidelines

The Pillar of Physics education is an online, academic journal that adheres to the highest standards of peer review and engages established and emerging scholars from anywhere in the world. We invite qualified research articles in all aspects of physics and physics education

  • Authors should prepare the manuscript using the Pillar of Physics Education template and submit through the online submission system (link). Only manuscript following the Pillar of Physics Education format will be sent to reviewers.
  • The manuscript should be original and has not been previously published or under review by other journals.
  • All submitted paper will be reviewed by experts in the field by considering the originality, clarity of presentation and significance to science.
  • As the commitment to fast publication, editors try their best to complete a review process within four weeks. If authors did not receive any notification after that period, please do send an email to editors.
  • Pillar of Physics education is an open access international journal.  However, it is very pleased to inform you (All Authors) that Author manuscript submission will free for each article. 

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
  2. The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect document file format.
  3. Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
  4. The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
  5. The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines, which is found in About the Journal.
  6. If submitting to a peer-reviewed section of the journal, the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.

Authors who publish with PoPE : Pillar of Physics Education agree to the following terms: Authors retain copyright and grant the PoPE : Pillar of Physics Education right of first publication with the work simultaneously licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution License (CC BY-SA 4.0) that allows others to share (copy and redistribute the material in any medium or format) and adapt (remix, transform, and build upon the material) the work for any purpose, even commercially with an acknowledgement of the work's authorship and initial publication in PoPE : Pillar of Physics Education. Authors are able to enter into separate, additional contractual arrangements for the non-exclusive distribution of the journal's published version of the work (e.g., post it to an institutional repository or publish it in a book), with an acknowledgement of its initial publication in PoPE : Pillar of Physics Education.
