WORKING INTERESTIN INDUSTRIAL PRODUCTION CLASS XII N MECHANICAL ENGINEERING 1 TANJUNGRAYA SMK STATE ACADEMIC YEAR 2012/2013

Abstract


This paper begins with an interview with the author of the majority class X student
majoring in Mechanical Engineering at SMK Negeri 1 Tanjung Raya. which is less interested
in working in the production industry. While interest is one of the factors that influence the
success of productive subjects . The research hypothesis is that there is a significant
relationship between the interests of students working in the production industry with the
learning outcomes of the productive class XI student of Mechanical Engineering at SMK
Negeri 1 Tanjung.
The method is correlational,the subject of research throughout the Class XI students
of Mechanical Engineering, which amounts to 39 students. Research instrument in this study
using a questionnaire that uses Likerts scale. Theory analysis of data using correlation
techniques.
Based on the analysis of data it can be concluded that the degree of achievement ( DP
) of the respondents worked in the industry variable interest in a production of 66.92 and fit
into the category of less. Based on the data analysis of correlation of 0.685 , which means
there is a strong relationship between interest in working in the industry with productive
results of study subjects were made to the students. Obtained results of study subjects was
46.92 % productive influenced by the working interest in the industrial production and the
remaining 53.08 % is influenced by other factors. Thus it is believed that a variable interest
students work contributes significantly to the learning outcomes of productive subjects
