UPAYA MENINGKATKAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA MELALUI BIMBINGAN GURU DALAM MENGGUNAKAN SARANA BELAJAR PADA MATA PELAJARAN PENGELASAN MENGGUNAKAN LAS BUSUR MANUAL KELAS X TPM SMK NEGERI 1 BUKITTINGGI
Abstract
School is educational state to do teaching learning process, through this
process will be achieved educational purpose in changing of students’ attitude.
Teachers is the main factor in conducting teaching learning process at the school,
beside teaching several lesson, the teacher also teach and guide in order the student
have good attitude, character and personality. The purpose of the research is to
increase weld skill and the study result of first year student TPM at the SMK N 1
Bukittinggi on the manual arc weld lesson by guiding approach of teacher in using
learning material.
The research which was used was class action research although the subject of
research was first year student TPM 1 SMK N 1 Bukittinggi on second semester in
academic years 2012/2013 by 30 students. Technique of data collecting in the research
was observation, although instrument of data collecthing which was used was test and
observation sheet. Data which collected and then analyzed qualitative and quantitative
way that was using presentation technique.
The result of result showed that ability and the result of first year students’
study TPM 1 at the SMK N 1 Bukittinggi after following learning by guiding approach
teacher in using learning material increased from siklus I till siklus III. Based on the
result of study that was conducted, it can be concluded that by teacher’s guiding in
using learning material well on manual arc weld lesson in learning was able to
increase the result of study.
