PERBANDINGAN HASIL BELAJAR MAHASISWA LULUSAN SMK DENGAN LULUSAN SMA PADA MATA KULIAH PEMOGRAMAN CNC (COMPUTER NUMERICALLY CONTROL) DI JURUSAN TEKNIK MESIN FAKULTAS TEKNIK UNIVERSITAS NEGERI PADANG
Abstract
The purpose of this research is to know whether there is a significant
differences of university students achievement between vocational school
graduation and senior high school graduation in CNC (computer numerically
control) programming subject on engineering faculty of Padang state university
for 2009 students. The used research method was causal-comparative, whereas in
this research was to compare achievement between university students who
graduated from vocational school and senior high school who had different
educational background. There were 63 samples which were researched by using
Taro Yamane formula. Because this research compared two groups. So that there
were 37from vocational school and 26 from senior high school. Technique which
used in taking sample was random sampling, collecting data from responded was
done through objective test. In this research writer examine theory knowledge
only. Tabulation of data by using Microsoft excel and SPSS (statistic product
service solution) 16.00 version. The data was analyzed using t-test. This research
shows that there is a significant achievement between students who graduated
from vocational school and senior high school with significant rate 0,05 and tcount
3,43 > ttable 1,67 (hypothesis is accepted). Whereas students who graduated from
vocational school much lower than senior high school
