HUBUNGAN CARA GURU MENGAJAR PADA MATAPELAJARAN PRODUKTIF DENGAN HASIL BELAJAR SISWA SMKN-1 BUKITTINGGI

Abstract


Background of this study the problems related to low student achievement that is the issue that concerns about the way teachers teach. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship of the way teachers teach the subjects productive with results of mechanical engineering students at SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The type of research was quantitative corelational. The population in this study were all engineering students in 2012/2013, amounting to 337 students in SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. The collected data were statistically analyzed with the aid of a computer program SPSS for windows version 17:00. Based on the results of the study found that: there is a relationship between the way teachers teach the subjects with a productive learning outcomes in SMK Negeri 1 Bukittinggi. This can be seen in the correlation coefficient of 0.327 and also can be seen in Table 5 of Appendix R to 0.148. Because the 0327 count r> r table of 0.148, then the presence of a significant relationship, and can be accepted at the level of 95%. Major contribution is 10.7. It means that the way teachers teach in productive subjects can provide a meaningful relationship in improving student learning outcomes. The better way teachers teach the subjects earning the better student learning outcomes.
