Abstract


Indonesia's energy demand met by fossil fuels. Formos thouseh olds rely on oil
and gas energy LPG. There fore, the search for alternative fuels commonly
updated (renewable), environmentally friendly and economic value, the
moredone. Making briquette is done by manual methods. Briquette-making
process begins with drying bagasse, chopped powder and mixed with tapioca,
with a ratio of70% bagasse 30%starch, 80% bagasse 20% starch, and 90%
bagasse 10% tapioca, then tested using abomb calorimeter. Andcalorific values
obtained at 3812.93KCal/kg, taken from the highest score. then performeda due
diligenceto determinehow long the flame. From the test resultsit takes time for
10.45 minutes for the briquettes burn until mengelurkan nots moke and 87.40
minutes until the briquettes to as hbriquettes for burning1 kg.
