ANALISIS NILAI KALOR BRIKET CAMPURAN AMPAS TEBU DENGAN BATUBARA MENGGUNAKAN PEREKAT TANAH LEMPUNG

Abstract


High dependence on energy prices make fuel result scan not be updatedon the
increase, especially kerosene which has been the basic need soft he people who are
now difficult to obtain. Briquette making process is done by a very simple, dry bag as
sechopped using a knife to facilitate the process of refinement using a blender.
Likewise, coal, coal still like pieces in advance puree by grinding, and then filtered
so that mixing evenly. There are two types of comparisons briquettes in this study,
the first material (40% bagasse, coal 40%, 20% clay) and two kinds of material
(bagasse 50%, coal30%, 20%clay). From the results that have tested the briquettes
in the know with the first variation has a calorific value of 4319.18 kJkgcal/ go
requivalent to 18080.10/, then the second variation has a calorific value of briquettes
denan 4075.24cal/ g, equivalent to 17058, 95kj/kg. It can be concluded hat having
amix of coal briquettes also contain sahigher calorific value. While the results of the
testflameinneedaround10.28hoursto burnbriquette shingado not smoke, andthetime
required for 90.15 minutes until the briquettes are burntand turned into ashes.
