PENGARUH PENGGUNAAN REM BELAKANG TIPE CAKRAM TERHADAP JARAK PENGEREMAN PADA SEPEDA MOTOR HONDA VARIO TECHNO CBS

Abstract

Jarak pengereman adalah jarak kendaraan dari saat mulai pengereman sampai pada saat mobil itu terhenti, Empty Distance + Bracking Distance.Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui seberapa besar pengaruh penggunaan rem tipe cakram terhadap jarak pengereman pada sepeda motor berkapasitas rendah yaitu Honda Vario Techno CBS.

Hasil uji menunjukkan pengaruh penggunaan rem belakang tipe cakram dapat mempengaruhi jarak pengereman, yaitu jarak pengereman yang dihasilkan semakin pendek atau singkat dengan persentase sebesar 6,87338 %dari penggunaan rem belakang tipe tromol (standar).Pada penggunaan rem belakang tipe piringan/cakram pada Sepeda Motor Honda Vario Techno CBS juga dapat mempengaruhi semakin singkatnya waktu pengereman dengan persentase sebesar 8,9445 %dari penggunaan rem belakang tipe tromol (standar).

Braking distance is the distance from the vehicle when braking starts up when the car was stalled, Empty Distance + Bracking Distance. This research aims to find out how much influence the use brake disk type braking distance to the low-capacity motorcycle i.e. Honda Vario Techno CBS.

Test result showed the influence of the use of rear brake disc type can affect braking distance braking distance, which produced the short or short percentage of 6,87338% of the use of rear brake type tromol (standard).
