Abstract :

This research aimed at improving student’s civics learning outcomes at SDN 31 Kota Padang by using the co-op co-op type of the cooperative learning model. The result of the lesson plan analysis in cycle I was 76.78% and in cycle II was 89.28%. The result of the teachers’ activities analysis in cycle I was 71% and in cycle II was 92%. Meanwhile, the student’s learning outcome in cycle I was 72.96% and it increased in cycle II to 83.25%. Thus, the co-op co-op type of the cooperative learning model successfully improved students’ civics learning outcomes.
