Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of the motif Houses Hundred Poles in the Village Sugih Waras, to know the names carved motifs on the pole a Hundred Houses in the Village Sugih Waras, to determine which placements are the motif on the pole a Hundred Houses in the Village of the district Sugih Waras Ogan Komering Ilir.

The type of research is qualitative descriptive. This research was done by field observation, interviews, and documentation. To analyze the data is done by collecting data, data reduction, data presentation and conclusion. To test the validity of the data is done by triangulation data. It can be concluded that the Hundred House is a traditional House Sugih Waras that many have a wide variety of shapes, names and placement of carving motifs are placed in different places.
