Abstract


Pendidikan merupakan usaha sadar manusia dalam rangka memanusiakan manusia. Melalui pendidikan, setiap manusia akan memahami perbuatan yang baik dan perbuatan yang buruk. Dalam pendidikan, salah satu cara yang dapat dilakukan dalam memahamkan peserta didik bertindak sesuai dengan norma adalah melalui proses pembelajaran. Salah satu mata pelajaran yang ditemui oleh peserta didik di sekolah dasar dalam proses pembelajaran adalah mata pelajaran seni. Mata pelejaran ini dianggap sebagai wadah dalam menumbukan dan mengembangkan daya imajinasi dan kreatifitas peserta didik. Banyak penelitian yang mengkaji pentingnya mata pelajaran ini bagi peserta didik di sekolah dasar. Namun, belum ada penelitian yang mengungkap persepsi guru SD terhadap mata pelajaran ini. Selain itu, belum ada penelitian yang mengungkap tentang pembelajaran mata pelajaran seni di sekolah dasar. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengungkap persepsi guru SD tentang mata pelajaran senin dan pembelajarannya. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian kuantitatif dengan jenis penelitian survey. Jumlah responden dalam penelitian ini adalah 112 responden yang merupakan guru sekolah dasar di Kota Padang. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, ditemukan bahwa 110 dari 112 respoden mengajarkan mata pelajaran seni di sekolah dasar. Materi seni yang dipelajari adalah seni rupa, seni musik, seni tari, dan seni drama. Media pembelajaran yang paling sering digunakan guru dalam mengajarkan mata pelajaran seni adalah media digital. Sementara itu, model pembelajaran yang paling sering digunakan adalah model PBL. Menurut responden, mata pelajaran seni merupakan mata pelajaran yang sangat penting untuk diajarkan di sekolah dasar. Hasil penelitian ini dapat dijadikan referensi oleh guru SD lain dalam mengajarkan mata pelajaran seni.

 

Education is a conscious human effort to humanize humans. Through education, every human being will understand good and bad actions. In education, one way that can be done to realize students acting by norms is through the learning process. One of the subjects encountered by students in elementary school in the learning process is art subjects. This subject is a forum for cultivating and developing students' imagination and creativity. Many studies examine the importance of this subject for students in elementary schools. However, there has been no research that reveals elementary school teachers' perceptions of this subject. Apart from that, no research reveals the learning of art subjects in elementary schools. Therefore, this research aims to expose elementary school teachers' perceptions about Monday subjects and their learning. This research uses a quantitative research design with a survey research type. The number of respondents in this research was 112  who were elementary school teachers in Padang City. Based on the research results, it was found that 110 out of 112 respondents taught art subjects in elementary schools. The art materials studied are fine arts, music, dance, and drama. The learning media most often used by teachers in teaching art subjects is digital media. Meanwhile, the learning model most often used is the PBL model. According to respondents, art subjects are very important subjects to be taught in elementary schools. The results of this research can be used as a reference by other elementary school teachers in teaching art subjects.
