Abstract

This article aimed to describe the implementation of extracurricular activity talempong pacik in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The type of research was a qualitative research with descriptive method of analysis. Techniques of data collection in this research were the observation or direct observation of the implementation of extracurricular activity talempong pacik in SMP Negeri 2 Pariaman. The results showed that: (1) students were able to play a musical instrument talempong pacik by playing the song Cak Dindin in accordance with the notation; (2) students could express themselves through the appearance at the end of extracurricular activity.
