Abstract


Abstract: The effectiveness of the token economy to reduce shyness in children of elementary school . This research begin from result of observation and interview with teacher and students in one elementary school . Researcher found a phenomenon that shyness of students in elementary school. This is a experiment research with ABA design . Subject on this research are 2 students based on teacher recommendation. Result from wilcoxon signed ranks test with p = 0.039 (P <0.05) for subject A and p = 0.038 ( p < 0.05 ) for subjects N, which means that there are significant differences between the levels of shyness of student in elementary school which before and after given token economy.

Abstrak: Efektivitas token ekonomi untuk mengurangi shyness pada anak SD. Penelitian ini berawal dari hasil observasi dan wawancara peneliti dengan guru dan murid  di salah satu Sekolah Dasar. Peneliti menemukan fenomena anak yang pemalu. Jenis penelitian ini adalah eksperimen dengan rancangan ABA Design. Subjek  penelitian sebanyak 2 siswa yang berdasarkan pada rekomendasi guru. Hasil uji wilcoxon signed ranks test didapatkan nilai p = 0,039 (p<0,05) untuk subjek A dan nilai p = 0,038 (p<0,05) untuk subjek N , yang berarti terdapat perbedaan yang signifikan antara tingkat shyness pada anak sekolah dasar sebelum dan sesudah diberikan token ekonomi.
