Abstract


Abstrack: Effectivity of collaborative reading strategy to increase reading comprehension of students in elementary school. This research aimed to knew effectivity of collaborative reading strategy to increase reading comprehension of students in elementary school. Intervention during nine times meeting of 40 students in SDN 07 Pagi East Jakarta. Students are given pretest and posttest about the reading comprehension. The type of this research was quasi experiment with designed non randomized pretest-posttest group. Data were processed used quantitative by t-test examination. Then it also used observation and interviews method. The resulted showed that there was increase of reading comprehension after given collaborative reading strategy and it was effective to increase reading comprehension of students.

Abstrak: Efektifitas strategi membaca kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan siswa sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektiftas strategi membaca kolaboratif untuk meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan siswa sekolah dasar. Intervensi dilakukan selama 9 kali pertemuan pada 40 siswa SDN 07 Pagi Jakarta Timur. Siswa diberi pretes dan posttes tentang pemahaman bacaan. Tipe penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kuasi eksperimen dengan disain non random pretes-postes. Analisa data menggunakan kuantitatif dengan analisis t-tes. Kemudian juga menggunakan metode observasi dan interview. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan pemahaman bacaan setelah diberikan strategi membaca kolaboratif dan strategi tersebut efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman bacaan siswa.
