Abstract
Kecemasan merupakan salah satu dampak yang dirasakan masyarakat selama pandemi COVID-19 berlangsung. Kecemasan yang dialami terjadi karena ketidakmampuan untuk memprediksi bahaya yang akan ditimbulkan oleh COVID-19. Kecemasan yang tinggi akan memberikan dampak buruk pada pola tidur dan perilaku individu. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui efektivitas intervensi menulis ekspresif secara daring dalam menurunkan kecemasan akibat pandemi COVID-19. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain penelitian eksperimen pretest-posttest control group design. Partisipan dalam penelitian ini adalah 22 orang perempuan berusia 18-30 tahun yang mengalami kecemasan akibat pandemi COVID-19. Partisipan dibagi ke dalam dua kelompok yaitu kelompok eksperimen (N=10) dan kelompok kontrol (N=12). Alat ukur yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah Coronavirus Anxiety Scale (CAS) yang telah diadaptasi ke dalam Bahasa Indonesia. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji Mann-Whitney dan uji Wilcoxon. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa menulis ekspresif secara daring efektif untuk menurunkan kecemasan akibat pandemi COVID-19 (ρ=0,011 untuk kelompok eksperimen dan ρ=0,855 untuk kelompok kontrol). Implikasi dari penelitian ini adalah menulis ekspresif dapat digunakan sebagai salah satu media untuk menurunkan kecemasan individu.
