Abstract


Salah satu permasalahan klasik yang dihadapi oleh para peneliti di metode konvesional dalam riset adalah adanya potensi hasil yang bias, yang kemungkinan disebabkan oleh faking-good para partisipan. Oleh sebab itu satu pendekatan guna mendapatkan data yang bebas bias dan lebih objektif perlu diimplementasikan seperti penggunaan teknologi pencitraan otak. Hingga saat ini, berbagai instrumen bisa digunakan untuk riset psikologi khususnya yag terkait dengan kognisi. Dikarenakan sifat non-invasive, kemampauan penilaian secara real-time, mobilitas atau kepraktisan instrumen beserta diperbolehkannya kebebasan bergerak partisipan adalah hal-hal yang harus dipertimbangkan, maka functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) memiliki potensi sebagai pilihan rasional untuk riset kognisi. Dalam studi ini, kami menjabarkan konsep dasar fNIRS dan aplikasinya dalam mengukur otak manusia di riset.
