Abstract

The effect of Social Support on the Quality of Life of ODHA in Saribattangku KDS Makassar.This study aims to determine the effect of social support on the quality of life of PLWHA in KDS Saribattangku Makassar City. This research uses quantitative methods. The subjects in this study were 37 people using simple random sampling. Data analysis techniques used normality and linearity tests, and simple regression tests using SPSS 20 for Windows. The results of this study were analyzed by simple linear regression showing the value of F = 14.019 with a significance of 0.003 (p <0.05) which proves that social support has a significant effect on the quality of life of PLWHA in Makassar City, Saribattangku KDS. While the R² value of 0.221 indicates that social support affects the quality of life of PLWHA by 22.1%. Based on these results, the hypothetical research is accepted.
