Peningkatan Proses Pembelajaran IPA Dengan Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Masalahdi Kelas V SD Pembangunan Kota Padang
Abstract
This research was about the process of learning science which is focused on the teachers so that the students were not active in the learning process. The students could not implement their skill into real life, develop their critical thinking and rationality in solving the problem which caused lower achievement. This research was designed to describe the improvement of learning science process through Problem based Learning (PBL) at class V of the Elementary School Pembangunan Kota Padang. This research was kind of class action research through qualitative approach. The subjects were teachers and students of class V of the Elementary School kota Padang. The data were observation and test result while the sources were planning, doing, and the process of learning science through Problem based Learning of class V of the Elementary School Pembangunan kota Padang. The findings showed: a) lesson plan on the first cycle was 80% became 89% on the second cycle, b) the implementation on the teachers was 80% on the first cycle became 90 % on the second cycle while the students was 77.5% became 95%, c) students’ learning achievement was 71% became 81% on the second cycle. It can be concluded that problem based learning could improve the process of learning science
