Abstract


This research aimed at decribing teacher’s role to cope underachievement of student. This research found that most teacher can identify underachievement although they heard underachievement for the first time. Also, the teacher knows the cause of underachievement but the don’t differ the student based on type of underachievement. Beside that, the teachers do the same intervention for all of student with underachievement, so that not all of intervension is effective. This research use qualitative approach and teacher as a source of data.
