Abstract


This research background by mild mental retardation difficulty children in reading comprehension. The ability of reading comprehension is low. This is evident in the child's inability to answer the questions of the text content reading. Based on the case study aims to prove the effectiveness of the media in improving reading comics.

This reseach, using approch of experiment in the from of Single Subject Research (SSR) by wearing to be designer A-B-A. As its of him is one child people of tungrahita. Condition of baseline 1 (A1) is condition of early had by persen 20 %, and mount to become  persen 90%  at condition of intervention (B) by using media of comics, after time interval passed to baseline second (A2) without using media asses child persen 90%.
