Abstract

This research originated from the problems encountered by a third-grade visually impaired student at SLB Negeri 2 Padang who was unable to recognize natural numbers in braille form. Based on observations, the student had not yet recognized the shapes of natural numbers 1-10 in braille. This study aimed to examine the effectiveness of the Braille Audio Button Board (PATOBA) media in enhancing the ability to recognize natural numbers 1-10 among visually impaired students at SLB Negeri 2 Padang. This research employed an A–B–A design with a Single Subject Research (SSR) approach. The results of this study indicate that the Braille Audio Button Board (PATOBA) media is effective in improving the ability to recognize natural numbers among third-grade visually impaired students at SLB Negeri 2 Padang
