Abstract


This study aims to describe the role and methods of explicit instruction on the skills of making bonsai artificial plant topiary from plastic ropes for deaf children. This type of research is a literature study (Library Research). The data collection method used in this research is the documentation method. The main sources of this research are journals contained in Google Scholar or Google Scholar and journals contained in reputable journals. The data analysis used in this research is literature analysis / content analysis / content analysis. The results of this study indicate that the explicit instruction method plays an important role in learning skills for deaf children, namely applying the appropriate steps to the explicit instruction method which is taught step by step by the teacher so that deaf children understand each step of the skills being taught.
