ABSTRACT

This research has a problem found in SDN 27 Olo Ladang, Padang as a background. A grade III student has a difficulty in the value concept of place, so he gets difficulties in all aspects of mathematics. The purpose of this research is to increase the value concept of place for the student who has learning difficulties. This research uses single subject research with A-B design as a method, and uses graphic visual analysis with percentage measuring as its data analysis technique. After having data processing, it shows that the smaller overlap percentage, the better the influence of intervention to the target changing of behavior in this research. It finds 16,66% of overlap. Based on the data analysis, the pocket number media can increase the value concept of place to the student who has learning difficulties in grade III SDN 27 Olo Ladang Padang.

Penelitian ini dilatar belakangi oleh permasalahan yang ditemukan di SDN 27 Olo Ladang Padang. Seorang anak kelas III mengalami kesulitan dalam konsep nilai tempat sehingga anak mengalami kesulitan pada seluruh aspek mata pelajaran matematika. Tujuan dari penelitian ini ialah untuk meningkatkan konsep nilai tempat pada anak berkesulitan belajar. Metode penelitian yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu  single subject research dengan desain A-B dan teknik analisis datanya menggunakan analisis visual grafik dengan pengukuran persentase. Setelah diolah menunjukkan semakin kecil persentase overlap maka semakin baik pengaruh intervensi terhadap perubahan target behavior dalam penelitian ini, diperoleh persentase overlap 16,66%.  Berdasarkan analisis data tersebut menunjukkan bahwa media kantong bilangan mampu meningkatkan konsep nilai tempat pada anak berkesulitan belajar kelas III SDN 27 Olo Ladang Padang.
