Abstract
This study aims to improve the skills of making wedding dowry from paper money through discovery learning. Problems that occur in the process of learning skills at SLB Perwari Padang are children who have difficulty in making skills that will later be useful for their future lives. Besides that this skill was also competed in the FLS2N (National Student Art Competition Festival) competition. Learning given by the teacher about marriage dowry from paper money is less varied and causes children to be less interested in making these skills, due to the lack of teacher knowledge about marriage dowry skills from paper money. Based on these problems, this study was conducted to prove that discovery learning learning can improve the ability to make wedding dowry from paper money in deaf children. in this study, classroom action research was used in two cycles. The results of this study prove that discovery learning learning can improve the skills of making marriage wages from banknotes in deaf class IX students at Perwari Padang.
