Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the Knudge.me application on students’ reading comprehension at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP and to explore students’ perceptions of its use. A quantitative research method was employed, using a quasi-experimental design. The instruments used in this study were a reading comprehension test and a closed-ended questionnaire to measure students' perceptions of the application. The findings revealed an improvement in students’ reading comprehension after using the Knudge.me application. This was demonstrated by the reading comprehension test results. The experimental class showed an increase in the mean score from 55.33 (pre test) to 63.67 (post-test), while the control class showed a smaller increase, from 48.09 to 50.42. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Knudge.me application is effective in improving students’ reading comprehension at SMA Pembangunan Laboratorium UNP and is positively perceived by the students.
