Abstract

Since the Reform era Indonesian government tries to prepare a more democratic governance system. Participation which is implemented in the era of New Order differ from that of in the Reform era. Briefly, the essence of political reform required public involvement or participation in decision making of public policy. This pattern is often defined as public participation. Thhis article tries to describe some issues of public participation in development, especially decision making of public policy
