MULTIFIKASI TUNAS ANGGREK LARAT (Dendrobium phalaenopsis Fitzg) DENGAN PEMBERIAN HORMON IAA DAN BAP TERHADAP PERTUMBUHAN SECARA IN VITRO

ABSTRACT

Larat orchid (Dendrobium phalaenopsis Fitzg) is orchid a rare native orchid from Maluku. The advantage of this orchid are has many color of petals and has resistant from water shortage. This research aims to determine the effect by using IAA and BAP hormones as well as to get a combination of IAA and BAP hormones for the best shoot growth of explants D. phalaenopsis Fitzg orchid with in vitrofertilisation. The results showed when shoots appear parameters is significant effect on single hormone of IAA and BAP hormones, while the number of shoots parameters showed only a single treatment of IAA hormone are significant, then the percentage of live explants parameter was not significant. Based on the results of this study concluded that the best combination of IAA and BAP hormones to produce the fastest emerging shoots isI0B3 treatment and to produce the highest number of shoots isI1,5B1treatment.
