KEUNGGULAN PERHITUNGAN BASIC REPRODUCTION RATIO DALAM MELAKUKAN ANALISIS KESTABILAN PADA MODEL PROYEKSI POPULASI BERSTRUKTUR STAGE

Abstract

There are three known methods available for use in doing analysis on stage structured population model, e.g : matrix norms, spectral radius and basic reproduction ratio. In this paper, we have explained why basic reproduction ratio methods is more convenience for use compared by matrix norm and spectral radius method. We also proposed one method for used in counting basic reproduction ratio, compared with ones counted by Ackleh-Chiquet (2008) and Beck-Lewis (2007).
