Abstract
This study aims to evaluate the effectiveness of the Blind Sensor Jannah in color recognition for individuals with visual impairments. The Blind Sensor Jannah is an assistive device that uses advanced sensor technology to detect colors and provide feedback through sound or vibration. The research method employed is an experimental design with pre-test and post-test. Six individuals with visual impairments were selected as the sample for this study. Data were collected through color recognition tests before and after using the Blind Sensor Jannah. The results showed a significant improvement in color recognition ability after using the Blind Sensor Jannah. Post-test color recognition scores were higher than pre-test scores for all samples studied. Additionally, subjects reported that the device was easy to use and helpful in daily activities involving color recognition. This study concludes that the Blind Sensor Jannah is effective in enhancing color recognition abilities for individuals with visual impairments and has the potential to improve their independence and quality of life. The study recommends further development and dissemination of assistive technologies like the Blind Sensor Jannah. Further research with a larger and more diverse sample is suggested to confirm these findings.
