Abstract


Flipped classrooms are usually behind thescenes learning activities at home and vice versa. This9study9is9to understand the9student's difficulty in8increasing the9effectiveness of9the student's study period to complete tasks that contradict the student's abilities and what the student responds to and what leads to a shortage. Not motivated by what you can't do. The8purpose8of8this8study8is8to explain9the9use9of flipped classrooms to improve the5learning5outcomes5of SMP6Negeri41 Payakumbuh Class VIII students. In the quantitative research approach using the Quasy Experiment, the sample is divided into two classes. That is,9class8VIII.96as a test class6and VIII.10 as a5control7class. The learning outcome data6was collected in a 40-item objective test and analyzed in another test (ttest) with a significance level of 0.05, resulting in tcount> ttable (3.0297> 1.645). The8results of7the5analysis showed7that there8was0a significant difference in learning results between9those using the8flipped classroom learning model and those using7conventional8learning. It9can8be6concluded that8the7use8of flipped classrooms has a significant impact ongtheblearning outcomesoofpClassyVIIIpstudentstinpthe social sciences ofPSMP Negeri 1 Payakumbuh.
