Abstract

The development of e-book teaching materials using 3D Pageflip Professional in the Course of Development of Teaching Materials and Textbooks is carried out to overcome learning problems at the MK PBAT which are still classified as using teaching materials that are dominated by powerpoint, so that students pay very little attention to learning. The completeness of visual learning content as outlined in this e-book allows students to understand what is conveyed by the lecturer, increases student interest and motivation to learn, and allows students to study independently.

The type of research carried out is research and development (R&D). In this study using validity and practicality analysis techniques. The validity test was carried out by involving 3 validators from the KTP FIP UNP Department, namely one material validator and two media validators. Then the practicality test of the e-book product was carried out on 27 students of the KTP FIP UNP BP 2019 class MK PBAT 40035 Session Wednesday 13.20-15.50.

The MK PBAT e-book was produced using 5 flipbook processing software, namely Adobe Photoshop CS6, Microsoft Office Word 2010, Nitro Pro 12, Ispring Suite Quizmaker 8. The output of the software is then integrated into 3D Pageflip Professional to produce an e-book in 3D. Based on the results of the assessment of the material validator and media validator, the material validation results obtained an average of 4.82 with a percentage of 96.4% with the qualification "Very Valid". The results of the validity of the media obtained an average of 4.68 by the media validator 1 and 4.84 by the media validator 2 with the qualification "Very Valid". The results of the product practicality test by students obtained an average of 4.24 with a percentage of 85% with the qualification "Very Practical". Based on the results of the validity and practicality tests, it can be concluded that the e-book teaching materials developed are very valid and very practical to use in the MK PBAT learning process.
